M.D Davis Sponsors “Meet Mr. Fashion” Event During Fashion Week
The M.D Davis Foundation welcomed the end of Summer 2009 with the sponsoring of a Fashion event that is still buzzing on everyones lips weeks later. The M.D Davis Foundation partnered with MeetMrFashion.com, a fashion social networking community, to host the Haute Days of Summer at the World Bar in the Trump Towers!
The guest list included fashion industry leaders such as, Celebrity Stylist Spry Lee Scott, Cesar (MUA, ANTM), “Dr. Legs” of Catwalk Confidence, Pierre Downing (BET), Gwen DeVoe, Xllent Shoes, JAMROCK Magazine, The John Ashford Collection, Sharon Quinn, Dylon (MTV), Chila for Fun, Allure of Excess Magazine, Fairweather Faces and many more.
The pampered evening served as an A-list only introduction for the fashion elite. Guests indulged in the signature “’fashionista” cocktails and light fare, while celebrity DJ Danja (YDIC) kept the tempo with live streaming video coverage.
“This was the perfect opportunity to get out there, network and speak to my peers about the mission of the foundation as we begin to focus on building strategic relationships with private donors and corporations alike to provide our students with the opportunities and resources they need,” stated founder and President, Michelle Davis.
